About e-mails and hard drive.?

is there a way to retrieve my old e-mails from my harddrive?

Answers:
If you haven't made any backups, you can't. E-mail programs put all received e-mails in seperate files (like one file for Sent items, one file for the inbox), so getting individual e-mails back can't be done.
You can try to get an undelete program and see if you can use that to undelete some of the old files, but you'll have to make backups of the current files of your e-mail program first. Another condition is that the files have not been overwritten by some other program (or defragmentation) in the meanwhile. It will be a time-consuming effort, with little hope for results.
