Whats better RAM after RAMBUS?

in recent times wantin to know

Answers:
DDR2 is based on RAMBUS technlology. A lot of the engineers who worked on the RAMBUS project moved on to other companies (such as Crucial, etc) and took their understanding with them.. The RAMBUS folks tried to sue because it be "too close".
RAMBUS is great, but because only one company made it, the prices be always far too high-ranking.
AMDs worked well w/ DDR because it be engineered around it, the original P4's worked ably w/ RAMBUS because it was engineered around it.. and in a minute all the newer CPUs are engineered around DDR2 so it's unyielding to say what is 'better'.. but my vote would own to go w/ DDR2 (and probably now w/ DDR3 for those CPUs which support that).
