1.6GHz Dual-core vs. 3.0GHz Pentium4 processor?
Help please??
I know my question might sound dumb, I'm sorry but I don't know that much about computers..
BTW other details about my system, 2GB RAM and 256MB video card..

Don't sneeze at that E2140 1.6Ghz (cheap Core2 Duo). It's a real performer and a pretty awesome overclocker. It can easily do 2.0-2.4Ghz on cheap, crappy motherboards, on stock cooler and stock voltages. 2.8Ghz is attainable on better motherboards. The old tech Pentium 3.0Ghz will bite the dust.

wow your computer is awesome well your 1.6 ghz is better than 3.0 because DUAL-core so you multiply it so its 3.2 ghz
Well, it sounds like you have a core 2 duo cpu which is way better than any P4, dual core or not, so you are set as far as CPU is concerned. That is a very nice cpu.
