How do I set up my Logitech mouse to side-scroll?

Hello, I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 notebook. I purchased the plug-and-play Logitech Cordless Mini Optical Mouse. When I got the notebook, it came with a free Windows Vista Home Premium Upgrade. I made backup discs, luckily. The hard drive crashed and I decided to just install Windows XP Media Center 2005 as I need the extra processor that Vista eats up. Now, in Windows Vista, my mouse also had the ability to side-scroll by leaning the clickwheel to either the left or right. Now I can't seem to get it to side-scroll in XP. How would I set it up to make the side-scrolling features work?

mmmk
i think i may have found somethingg

if i am correct and this is your mouse
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_p...

it says something about a software download
which you can get here
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/13...

it talks about vista
from the site its says
"Migrating to Vista:
We recommend to uninstall SetPoint prior migrating to vista (you will be able to use your Logitech keyboard and mouse basic functionality during the migration). Once the migration to Vista is completed, install a fresh copy of SetPoint to enjoy the full functionality of your Logitech devices and unleash the power of Vista!

If you have migrated to Vista with earlier SetPoint version loaded, we recommend to uninstall it and install a fresh copy of SetPoint to ensure it functions properly.
"
so maybe if you download the software it will work
hopefully
