I took my hard drive out, put it back in as b4 and now my comp doesn't see it. Why?

Answers:
Make sure all cables are securely plugged in. Need the IDE or SATA cable AND power cables plugged securely at both ends of the cable.
Got to ask the question why ??
Becouse you probably bent a pin as you put the plug back in, they are very soft and very delicat and if you bent a singal pin your PC will not see the HD. Take it out and make sure that none of the pins are bent, If they are very carfully straighten them. Make sure that pin one on the plug is in pin one on the drive. Usually the ribbon cable has a red stripe along it this indecates the pin one position. this must be lined up to pin one on the HD. take care not to bend any pins. once you have the drive in place you will need to go into setup and auto detect the drive that should find it, If not then make sure that the plug on the other end that fits into the motherboadr is sercurely in place.
