Yes you have a stick of 512meg ram there by Corsair. About the best ram there is.
It IS DDR which should be anywhere between PC1300 to PC 2700 by the looks of it. However, you should grab a free program called Everest and find out for sure what the FSB is, I would.
Or a free program called WCPUID, google that and you will find it.

It is either DDR or DDR2, definately not SDRAM. Because the picture quality is too poor, i cannot tell you for certain what you have.
Usually you can tell by the notches, but your pics are really blurry.
Look at its PC number. If it's a small number it's most probably SDR, but if it's bigger it's DDR.
My personal opinion is that it's DDR, as SDR ram never really made it to be 512 or a gig, as it would cost a fortune, and DDR was the only type that was really made at that size.
