Anyone know how to add CPU speed to your PC?
Answers:
Buy a 3.4Ghz CPU that is compatible with your motherboard. Take out the old CPU. Put the new CPU in its place.
Purchase a new processor with 3.4 Ghz output.
Hi there,
Be sure when buying your 3.4GHz CPU that the board can support it. People often make the mistake of buying a new chip and realising even after a BIOS update it doesn't support that speed and you will end up with the same speed as before. Usually documentation that came with the motherboard tells you what the motherboard can support if not check the manufacturers website. You could probably get a motherboard for about £30 that does support it anyway.
Get a new processor chip compatible with your motherboard and install it.
