I decided to clean my computer.It was very dirty anf filthy inside.I disconected all the parts and cleaned them separatly. I used all the precautions such as grounding myself. I build the computer in the first place, so I am certain that I put it back together correctly. After closing the case, I turned the computer on, but the monitor stayed dark. I could hear the hard drive workign a little but than stoping. Everything worked together before. My monitor works fine with the computer i am on right now and thevideo card is seated perfectly.

I used to work as a field technician and I have seen computer that were kept running non-stop (like on the newspaper journalist's desk) wtihout problem until you shut them down and then they wont start anymore!
You should at least see the bios screen or hear some beeps?
Could be some IDE cables not connected properly or the RAM not seated right. Check again.
Normally in such situation, I would disconnect every thing, just have the video display card and RAM and see if it boot up.
many possiblity. if it's not connections, i suspect it could be ram(s) seated on the wrong slot?
It's the connection. Must've put it back loose. Check again.
