Pc question, Rams, Cpu's, and Display cards.~?

First:
Is at hand a way to check what form of Rams, CPU and display card i'm using without slit my computer's case?

Second:
I want to upgrade my notebook to 4 to 8Gb of rams, ( First 4gb, and consequently when i have plenty money, i'll buy the rest 4Gb, that's make 8gb)
But i dunno if i'll get going with 4 ram of 1gb to make 4gb? or buy 2 ram of " 2gb DDR2-800 to make 4 gb.
Which runs better?

I be thinking about using 4 ram of 2gb DDR2-800 to create 8gb, but it's too expensive, so i want to start with 4 gb first and upgrade later~

Third request for information:
In case i want to engineer 4 or 8 GB of Rams, i know that i'll need a better display card and a better CPU to support such power.
( I'll call for to upgrade my display card or my CPU anyway? )
Can anyone tell me why my display card or CPU won't work if i'll put 4 to 8 GB contained by my pc?

Fourth examine:
What's the difference in using a Core 2 DUO and a QuaD Core CPU? When do i requirement a Quadcore QX 6700?~
Thanks everyone~

Answer:
First:
Yes, go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Hardware Manager

Second:
I don't recommend getting 8 GB of RAM, unless you absolutly requirement it. I'd do 4 GB AT THE MAX. However, some people use their computers for other things. If you lone plan to do gaming, you can actually slow your computer down next to too much RAM.

Your computer probably doesn't have plenty slots for four 2 GB RAM cards, so you probably had best to 4 GB. That will be cheaper anyway, and run as all right.

Third question:
Your display card will still work fine, but your CPU will not be capable of handle 8 GB RAM as swift as 4 GB, so stay away from that much.

Fourth question:
Different CPUs enjoy different processing power. You can look on the Intel website (http://intel.com) to find out which has more processing speed. Look for the number of GHz.

I hope this help, I tried to answer all your question. eMail me if you have anything you requirement more help near.

wow...what operating system are you using? while most motherboards support 4GB of memory, windows XP individual supports up to 2 GB's . While we are on this subject, I have never see a 2GB stick of ram, and hold been a desktop support technician since 1998. the root of adjectives your questions is your motherboard.what cpu's will it support, what type of hit will it support, what video card interface does it have?
