What is the difference between E6600 vs E6550?

the difference is that E6600 is clocked at 2.4ghz and has 1066mhz front side bus while E6550 is clocked at 2.33ghz and has 1333mhz front side bus
out of those 2 processors E6600 performs a little better than E6550 according to the benchmarks at tom's hardware here

the E6550 is listed as $184.00 at newegg and E6600 is listed at $222.90 at newegg...but if ur gonna go for the E6600 might as well go for E6750 which is 2.66ghz and 1333mhz front side bus and listed at $225 at newegg also

I guess if you mean intel core 2 duo, E6600 is better

Two links to both processors giving spec details and the benchmarks done on them. Aside from this the E6600 is more expensive.
