Which processor is better (perfomance and durability wise)...AMD TURION 64 X 2 OR INTEL DUAL CORE SERIES?
Answers:
The FSB on the AMD is much higher, which generally means that more traffic can travel throught the CPU faster, so despite the slower frequency, the AMD wins out.
Go with the TuX2... read this.
AMD is the recommended processor for the 64 bit computers, and is the industry standard for gaming.
without no doubt, intel core 2 duo is faster than amd turion 64x2.
dont get me wrong, i'm no intel fanboy, in fact, i'm amd fanboy.
but i have to admit that core 2 duo is faster, google this if you dont believe me.
note that i said core 2 duo, not core duo, there's a differences between these two.
it's just happen cause core2duo got 4mb smart cache, means better shared cache cause each core can get corresponding amount of cache, not fixed amount of cache like before.
as for FSB, no matter how high is the FSB, it can only affect overall about 5% of computer performance, no higher than that.
