What is that cord call where on earth you can connect your computer to your tv?

and where on earth can i get one?

Answer:
If your video card have an S-Video output jack, you can get an S-Video cable and use it to connect to your TV, cable video box or VHS player.

The other device will want an S-Video or RCA video input jack.

If the receiving device doesn't enjoy S-Video input, you can get an S-video to RCA video adapter for a couple of bucks.

You'll probably want RCA or optical audio cable as well and again, breed sure you know which each device supports. You can't shift from optical cable to RCA audio or vice versa. It's one or the other.

All the cables and adapters are available at almost any Circuit City, Radio Shack or BestBuy store. I'd shop at Radio Shack if you can find one, they'll be the cheapest.

Here's a great correlation to a site that'll have adjectives the information you'll need to receive started.
RF lead? or S video but check your computer have the right output for this, and you can get this adjectives this sort of stuff from

maplin electronics
radio shack

all that sort of combined

Good luck getting it to work :)
There are also different types of adapters, if you hold an S-Video port on your computer, or there are ones that plug into your monitor port, etc.
It is any an S-Video cable or an RCA (also called "composite") cable, depending. And depending on your TV, you can even attain an S-Video-to-RCA cable to make sure that the two are compatible. I hold an S-Video out on my laptop, but only an RCA surrounded by on the TV and had to draw from a converter cable. Radio Shack has get you covered. If you can't bring in your computer, later bring in pictures of your video card and TV ports. Even if you don't conclude up buying from them, I've found that they give moral advice when it comes to practical solutions.

Or if you enjoy one of those swank new TVs that can cart a digital output, and have a similar video card that can do it, you will stipulation a special cable. My Dell came next to the swank square-pin looking connection that can dance into an HD big-screen TV, but it also came next to the cable.
