My computer won't play any sounds?
Answers:
The problem is obviously of the device drivers. Right-click on 'My Computer', and click on 'Properties'. Go to the 'Hardware' tab, and click 'Device Manager'. Try to find your Sound Card under 'Audio, video and game Controllers'. If It's yellow or non existent, go to http://driveragent.com/ and follow the steps. If it still doesn't work, click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, and see if any of the 'Mute' check boxes are checked, or the 'Mute All' check box. Decheck them if so. This should fix it.
Do you check the drivers are installed or working properly?
Go to devise manager and see if your sound devise is working it will give you a !in yellow if it is not and you will have to download the sound devise again
Check the Device Manager. Right-click 'My Computer' and the option should be there. Look under the listed devices for 'sound' etc. Are drivers installed? Is the computer detecting your audio card? If yes, try plugging headphones. Does sound come in then? Have you tried other speakers? Made sure nothing's loose in the back?
As for other buttons, I can't really think of any. Post results of above advice.
If you have a teenager in the house , check to see if he unplugged the speakers . Mine did that once so I wouldn't hear him on the computer . Then check your sound settings .
