RAM Question, I'm trying to upgrade!?

I have 2 of the following RAM sticks in my comp

SAMSUNG 256MB DIMM DDR2 PC2-3200 1Rx16 PC2-3200U-333

I want to buy 2 more sticks since it looks like I have 2 open ram slots when I opened it up today. I found this ram on ebay:

SAMSUNG 256MB DIMM DDR2 PC2-3200 1Rx8 PC2-3200U-333-10-A1

1) What does the 1Rx8 and 1Rx16 difference mean? Will it work?

2)How can I figure out what kind of mother board I have and whether it would take 512MB RAM sticks. (It is fairly new P4 3 Ghz HT)_

and how much its your max that u can have on that motherboad
