Laser etching on a CD?

I created 15 recovery discs for my PC. An HP media center machine. Is it possible to NOW etch labels on the for visual identification (recovery disc 1, disc 2, disc 3, etc)?

Answers:
Only if you used LightScribe CDs.

I recommend that you use a Sharpie Permanent marker. Mark carefully. The store these CDs and NEVER touch them. Don't let anyone else touch them either, so if KIDS are around, HIDE them or lock them up.

You see, these recovery discs are a very valuable component of your computer. Even 5 years from now, you can make your computer LIKE NEW by reinstalling.

Good luck and Happy Computing!
Sure can.. Put the cd in the drive upside down.. Go into your program that allows you to do the scribing and start your labeling.
