My keyboard is not just dirty with dust, but there are also crumbs and gunk underneath the keys. I want to know an easy, safe way to get this stuff out.

turn off your PC and remove all the buttons from your keyboard then clean it with a small brush and put the buttons back

If you can attach a brush to your vacuum hose then that would be the best thing while the pc is turned off.
You can disassemble it, and use soap and water, *BUT* make sure it is completely rinsed, and let it dry for two days.
hoover it with the machine off
