How do I type the french letters from the normal qwerty keyboard?

Answers:
you can set it under your settings, changes the whole keyboard to one of a few styles, least for chinese and stuff like that, change your menus to french and so on, also you may need the proper keyboard or a plastic sheet which sits on top. You see it still has the same number of buttons but the buttons are certainly not the same. There is even a difference between USA and England keyboard, they have a lb sign instead of a $ and the @ key is near enter on } one of those. hope that helps, you could possibly just change the MS word setting if using that for like a paper.
These steps are for Windows XP.
Go to Control Panel, Regional Options.
In Regional Options, click on the Languages tab.
Click on the Details button.
Click on Add and select French in the dropdown box.
Then in the default input language, change to French.
Click on OK to exit out of Regional options.
Now at the bottom of your screen, you will see a small box with either EN or FR. You can click on that to change your language input.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Go to start and run, Type control
go to Regional and Language Option
Choice the desire Language you will use.
