Mac better than PC?
I already own one PC and one Apple MacBook Pro. I need to buy some more computers, but I don't know what to get. I do graphic design and I've always been told that Mac is superior to PC for that type of work, but my neighbor told me the other day that Mac being better than PC is a myth due to the PCs ability to change the video/audio cards and use the same software. I like my MacBook Pro, but it is way more expensive than a PC -- if PC can do it I'd like to save money.

Mac is not better than PC. PC is better than Mac. You should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
If literally speaking, "you're in the graphical design area". I am quite surprised that you do not know that Mac OS X is far superior to that field compared to Windows and Linux combined. If you notice all of the specialty multimedia proapplications on a mac, you'll know right away the Mac blows the PC away on that particular standpoint.
The problem with the PC/Mac aurgument is this: Most PC users tend to be bussiness men, average users and serious gamers. Mac users tend to be more towards the liberal arts/photography/movie fliming and editing.
Also, how many Mac users do you see making a PC users think that Mac is better? Not many. I use both PC and Mac, and I like them both in very different ways.
Let me ask you this.. You have a pinky and a ring finger, which would you rather lose.. Overall, none.
Mac vs. PC = Coke vs. Pepsi.
Mac vs. PC = McDonald's vs. Burger King.
Mac vs. PC = Liberal vs. Conservative
Which is better? none, they are both pure preference.
But really, if your need computers for gfx design, get a budget student use thing from apple.
