What is the difference between a notebook and a laptop?
Answers:
Below is the link answered to that difference, as follows:
"A laptop computer, or simply laptop (also notebook computer or notebook), is a small mobile computer, which usually weighs 2.2-18 pounds (1-6 kilograms), depending on size, materials, and other factors.
While the terms laptop and notebook are often used interchangeably, "laptop" is the older term, introduced in 1983, "Notebook computer" is a later coinage.
As of 2007, most manufacturers use the term "notebook" (or some variant thereof) for what most end-users call a "laptop".
Here in Taiwan, Taiwanese knew, and used mostly the term notebook than laptop."
Just like here in Taiwan, they used the term "mobile phone" instead of "cell phone".
there is no difference
there is no difference, just a different way to say it, but since this whole thing with exploding batteries, manufacturers have started to refer to them as notebooks because laptop impkies that you can put it on your lap, but the manufacturers dont want people to sue them for them thinking its ok to put it on their lap, then it overheats and burns them.
same dif XD
its the same thing
A notebook is a small, lightweight computer that you can easily transport. A notebook computer is also called a laptop.
Notebooks are generally thinner than laptops, but other than that, they're obviously the same.
