How do i crash my laptop?

No need to crash it, just put your Operating System CD in and reinstall the Operating System.
why do u want to do that? If u don't want it anymore then u should at least give it to charity.

Try sticking a magnet on the area on the keyboard half
download as much as possible. get viruses. make it overheat.
From a software standpoint, you could start deleting critical systems files in the c:\windows\system32 folder and sub folders until you have hosed it up good.
If you are selling/turning back in and want to wipe everything off then that won't do. What you could do is download a Linux/BSD operating system and install that over Windows and make sure you take the re-partition/re-format route when it comes to getting the hard disk ready.

Crashing your laptop could potentially ruin it, you know.
I suppose the easiest way is to just drop it and see if it works again. You could subject it to viri and trojans by removing all firewall protection, browser protection and anti-virus and anti-spyware protection.
If you're intentionally wanting to destroy your notebook, why not just give it away to charity or sell it for a few bucks? Give it to a needy child. There are only like a few million of them in the world that don't have a computer and who would love to have one and learn.
If you really want to do this then here's how you can crash the OS.
You can go to Start -- Run and type in cmd. Then type in FDISK. This will totally wipe the HD and laptop will be unsable. Of course someone could re-install the OS.
Totally making the laptop unusable means you would need to mess up the motherboard. Perhaps a really powerful laptop.
I would love to know why you would want to do that. Warranty qualification? Brilliant!
