Buy $150 laptop?
Answers:
You must spend your money for the best brand.
As I know HP and Dell are the best in laptops for a long time and they are very reliable too. I trusted HP and I bought a HP laptop 2 years before, and still like the day I bought it. Didn't even have to service it at least once up to now.
I recommend you to buy a HP (with experience) or Dell laptop.
On www.hp.com you can even customize your laptop. And also you can check the price.
psh no, the day you get a new laptop for that price is the day pigs can fly.
thats crazy talk
steal from nadals family or somthing
yeah right but maybe u can get 1 of the streets
and stop being cheap
You will not find any sort of useable laptop for that price. Seriously.
use google much?
nooooo...but maybe a broken one off of ebay...hah
The laptop has not been released yet and will be later this month. I would keep checking cnet.com for updates about this.
I hope this article from engadget.com is helpful to you and others:
To say the least, Sweden's Medison has attracted a fair bit of skepticism with its promise to release a $150 Linux-based laptop. The company looks to be doing its best to dissuade those naysayers, however, recently meeting with a group of Swedish journalists to make its case. While it apparently "did not exactly strengthen its credibility," according to Computer Sweden, Medison did reveal a few new details, including a promised August 15th delivery date (at least for the first batch of units). The company also said that the laptop will not be its primary source of income, with it instead expecting to make most of its money from advertisements on its website (mainly from accessory-makers and the like). Further adding to intrigue/ridicule surrounding the company, Medison's Valdi Ivancic reportedly also dropped the bomb that he's considering declaring his candidacy for Prime Minister of Sweden. Really.

I am aware of the $150 laptop and the company.
However, the LCD panel itself costs more than $150 dollars in large quantity. It is impossible to build a new laptop for that price. I'd be very surprised if they can pull this off.
Instead of waiting for a product by a start up company with no reputation and track record, you might want to look into used and older, but still perfectly usable notebooks. Due to the ever declining price of the laptops and the mass availability, the price of the used (but completely usable) notbooks are quite low. The sources I used before are:
www.compgeeks.com
www.delloutlet.com
For 300 dollars, you *can* have a nice one.
buy it form there by going here:

then click on order
