How do i find my sound card--i do not have any documention about my laptop?

Go to your manufacturers website. They should allow you to download the manual.
Sound cards in laptops are usually not easily replacable, as they are often included as part of the main board, or not meant to be replaced by the user.
go get it checked at best buy or curcuit city or radio shark
it built in m board. you got no traditinally sound card not in a little laptop. no n o yo know wrong things.

dxdiag

'sound1' tab should tell you device & drivers
as also diagnostics & performance
Got to >> www.belarc.com/free_download.h... ..download and install.. then run. All the info you need will be displayed on screen.
