here is a good quallity laptop
CPU intel core duo 2.0 Ghz
Memory 1 gb (minimum) 2gb (really good)
Hard drive 120 gb (more is even better)
Drive CD/DVD recordable (dvd double layer for 8gb)
Display 13.3 (expansive) 15 (more or less cheap) sizes matter with brands
Display adapter Geforce nvidia 6100 gpu (at least) 8800 ge force (maximun and better)
Sofrware windows xp is the best one on the market windows vista have some errors with drivers that you dont wanna mess with :]
weights are 4 to 6 lbs no more! you dont want a desktop as a laptop
this will cost you arround 1000 dollars on ebay or 1500 on www.sony.com the cheap laptop upgrade it to 2 gb of ram

no! dont get it ! it only has 2GB hard drive and 32 MB memory! ( MY ipod has more than that! ) you should defintely look for something with a faster speed, and much more mmory.

Its a very old useless version.
It is only good for a simple word processor. To put it bluntly, if someone was giving me this laptop I would be kind enough to say thanks but would throw it in the garbage when i got it home.
