Which laptop pc should I get?
Acer Aspire 5100-5023 15.4" Widescreen Notebook PC
and for Wal-Mart we have:
Acer Aspire 5610 15.4" Widescreen Laptop PC w/ Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2080
The main different I see is the price, CC being the cheaper one, but the the only othe big different I see is the processor. They both have 2gigs of RAM which I heard will help Vista run better and smoth. Which one has the better processor and is the price different that big of a deal in the processors, almost $100. Thanks a lot.

Definetly go with the one from CC. The HUGE difference is the graphics chipset. The Wally World comp (at $98 more) only has the Intel GMA 950.
The CC comp has the X1100 with 256mb onboard+256 shared.
The processors are really an even swap.
The Circuit City system is featuring a 64-bit system whereas the Walmart one is a 32-bit system. So the circuit city one is more powerful and ready for the next generation of computing too. So in my opinion you should go with the Circuit City one
the price on the processor is noticeable. for me the laptop at walmart is better, intel core duo processor do better in terms of performance than AMD, if suggest getting a laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo so your laptop would last longer since quad core already came out. but if all you want is surf and play online games, then the laptop at walmart is good enough.
