It is a decent budget computer but the screen is not as good as those on some of the other budget LTs

yeah it`s cool...i like the media buttons on the front!u can listen to music even WITHOUT turning on the computer!!
and u have vista ultimate so u have a dual core,1 gb ram,128 video card...wich now is not the minimum,and not the maximum..but it`s really cool!i like this computer!!my rating fom 1 to 10 is 9.5
When buying a laptop on eBay, make sure that the person who sends it to you is either from the same country or marks the word GIFT on the package; otherwise you may be charged tariffs. A friend of mine ended up paying an extra $300 from Customs.
Acer is a good brand; I'm a computer science student, and the brightest student in my class last year had an Acer and really liked it. (Note to file, though; don't flash the BIOS on it!)

Be careful buying thing from ebay I'd just go to a store and buy a new one because by the time everyone gets through bidding on that laptop it'll probably be more than it's worth.
Acre is a rising brand in the computer world, they have some pretty good prices and I have not heard anything bad about their computers. Most low end computers today are made for word processing, email, internet and music so this should be a good laptop for what you want to do.
By the way best way to get faster internet is just pay for it, like for the high speed cable internet. It's not really all about the computer when it comes to internet speed, even though the more RAM you have the better you'll be surfing the internet.
