I would reccomend looking for a reviews section on the site. If the reviews are numerous and positive, the site is probably safe. If not, you are at your own risk.
If you can't find good results there, i recommend trying other sites such as:
www.newegg.com
www.ebay.com
www.pagecomputers.com
www.tigerdirect.com
they are legit, they stock up on computer hardware and sell it cheaper and sell a lot of em.
They are selling used and refurbished computers and it is really hard to tell whether the batteries are legit. Did you recall the Dell notebook that exploded incident? it was because the battery was made by Sony. And i think to be safe, you should get it from your notebook supplier. It is safer that way, and they have warranties.
