ok so i have a fujitsu siemens laptop which runs on windows, the newest version! wen i first i got it my dad stupidly changed the sound effect on it and now wen i watch a vid on it or a dvd peoples voices are rele quiet but the music is rele loud and i need to change it so vids sound the way they should!! help, how to change the effect cos my dad forgot wat he did now!

Control panel, Sound Speech and Audio, Advanced Volume Controls.
The new soundcards have a nice tool to alter how sounds are reproduce: the environment, it means you can simulate the sound as if you were in a cave, a bathroom, a forest, etc...
In fact the chipset are enough powerfool to alter the frequencies in real time to change the sound... it is funny but not really usefull and after a while more annoying that really fun (except in video games or it is part of the deal)
So the best thing to know is search for an icon close to the clock to adjust sound (tips is it is not the same as the windows sound icon)
