Can i use more than one graphics card ?
Answers:
If your motherboard has an additional slot for graphics card you can run two graphics cards.
if you run 2 nvidia graphics card then it is known as SLI.
if you run 2 ati graphics card it is called Crossfire.
if you have a motherboard that supports either nvidia's SLI or ati's crossfire..then yes. You have to get 2 of the same pci-e cards and put them into the 2 pci-e slots and bridge them together. But you posted this under notebooks and laptops...so maybe no. Laptops are lucky to run one dedicated video card.
only if your motherboard supports SLI (nvidia) or crossfire (ATI). and normally you have to have two of the same card connected to each other.
if it's a laptop then i don't think so, since the motherboard is all cramped up.
Yes, despite what anyone says, you can easily use two or more graphics cards in a computer. You don't have to run it in SLI Mode (nVidia) or Crossfire Mode (ATI), and you can use any normal PCI slot in your computer for the graphics card. I suggest buying it online to get the best selection for buying a new graphics card. Depending on what kind of open slots your computer has, you'll need to buy the new graphics card according to that. If you already have a graphics card in your computer, I would say buy the second one with the same chipset manufacturer, such as nVidia or ATI. This will make it easier for your computer to avoid driver conflicts. This really helps when you want to run more than 2 Monitors on your computer. I currently have 4 and it works flawless.
