Where are firewall settings installed on asus F3Hseries laptops?

Answers:
Unless your laptop came with additional software, the only firewall that you have present is Windows' own. This can be found in Control Panel under Security Center.

To get there, click on Start (bottom right of your desktop), click once on Control Panel and double click on Security Center. (This will be viewable whether you're in Category View or Classic View.)

Personally, I would advise that you get an additional firewall program. There are quite a few that are freely available and free of charge. I use ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm, which can be obtained from the url given below. (You should switch off Windows firewall once you've installed another one as they may conflict. I would also suggest you install anti-virus software as well as anti-spyware/malware software. See the links below for these.)

If you type "Free antivirus" or "Free antispyware" (without the speech marks) into any search engine you will come up with plenty of results for you to try. Do remember though that two anti-virus programs may conflict with each other so it's best if you only utilise one at a time.

One other recommendation that I have for you is that you download McAfee Site Advisor (there's two versions. One for Internet Explorer and the other for Mozilla Firefox.) These give coloured warnings if the site you are about to enter is known to contain security threats such as spyware, adware, spam, viruses, browser exploits, and online scams.

You may also consider using Mozilla Firefox has it doesn't have as many openings for you to be attacked as Internet Explorer does.

When you do install your anti-virus and anti-spyware/malware programs, make sure you update them to the latest definitions, and run them. ZoneAlarm gives you the option to update automatically.
