PLEASE HELP!! What is the best and easiest was to transfer songs from a desk top to a laptop?
Answers:
USB drive. But this will take too long if you have a lot of data.
1. Transfer it through an external hard drive via usb
2. Burn it on CD-R
Easiest way is with a flash drive.
Put them all on a jump/flash drive (Tiny USB drive, sold at Target and everywhere else).
If you have a flashdrive or any type of memory device you can copy them to the flashdrive and then to your laptop or you can burn them to a cd as MP3 format.
driverless usb data transfer cable?

Like they said a hard/flash drive or CD's maybe email?
If you're computers are equipped with dvd/CD rom and writers just burn then in DVD/CD (file format or commonly know as data format). Now if you're computer does not have one and you really need to transfer more than 200 mp3 consider a cable to cable connection with you're PC and Laptop with Laplink cable. Step by step configurations are commonly available with the installer of the cable. You can also consider to network you're computer by using a hub or better a router if you desire them to have internet access at the same time.
Thanks
It depends. If you have them stored in your My Music folder you can just copy and paste it to a USB drive if you have one or you can connect the two computers together via a crossover cable or wireless network and transfer them that way. You can also burn to DVD if your computer has that capability. If you are using iTunes, there is a backup feature built in that allows you to transfer your music to another computer, however you will have to log into Apple from the new computer in order to play your songs.
