Laptop says it has internet connection via home computer but pages won't display!?

I sometimes have this problem. The only advice I can give is:
1. on the toolbar on the bottom there should be a little icon which is a computer.
2. Double click on it untill a box comes up
3. Click on the support part on the top
4. Then click repair and it should repair your conncection.
However if this doesn't work you should go on the windows site for help or get proffessional help Good Luck!
Make sure you don't have security on the router, make sure you are in the same room with your laptop as the router, for now, make windows manage the wireless connection...( I work IT so I can go through a few steps) but it's hard to describe it on here.
Make sure you have connected to the correct network, As there is a network call BT OPENZONE over a large part of the uk (not sure about other countries) that will sometimes connect and say a great connection but if you have not subscribed to this network it will not show websites.
