I just got a new computer and i do not know which is better for the computer. Should i turn off the computer when im done, loggoff and close the lid, or just close the lid?

if you are only going to be gone for lets say lunch or a trip to the stop then just close the lid. but if you going to be gone for a while i would say turn it off.
long periods of time is better to turn off...such as over night
but maybe close the lid if only like a few hours...1-3 something like that
