I have 3 usb ports on my laptop, when i plug in my phone charger to transfer files or anything else, it turns the laptop off straight away, also when i move/lift the laptop it will also sometimes turn it off. This first happened around 2 weeks ago, its turned off 4 times in the past ten minutes...any ideas what the problem may be?
Its an advent laptop and i only got it at christmas.

are you using battery only ??
try using the ac and see what happens, it could be battery troubles. usb devices use power.
Theyre could be a fault with the laptop, try taking it back to the shop for advice or contact the manufacturer?

It's a dodgy usb port does it only go off when moving it with device plugged into usb or does it do it without anything being plugged into it ? if so your laptop could be on it's way out or it's a memory problem take memory out then put it back in see if this helps.
