Can I use the Vista Instalation disk that came with my laptop on my desktop computer?

Answers:
No you can't, unless your desktop has a windows vista key (usually on the side or somewhere on the case). Or you could use the key from your laptop and use that to load the desktop, only thing is, you can only use one key per system.
you might if your desktop is able to run it but i dont no the security on vista. so you might have to get a new copy of vista for it to work
you won't know till you try. And I'm sure you can't do it on two differnt makes of computers. If they were both gateways, it'd probably work, but if one was a dell and the other gateway, I'm sure it won't.
