Do I really need a macbook pro for college?

Apple is running the electronic world. Do I really need a macbook pro for college? Or should I save the money?

Answers:
Technically speaking, no college student really needs a laptop anyway. Colleges have computer labs and most college students abuse the system anyway, then cry when the RIAA comes after them.

If its an online college, then you should have one.

MacBook pros are pretty expensive for general college use. Now for graphics and video, that's ok.
If you want all work no play, get a Mac, but if you're like me, a person that does both, I would get a decked out HP.
You can get by with a Macbook.
No, less than 10% of LTs sold are Macs. They are overpriced and have compatibility issues with windows software.
You shouldn't get a Mac for college. Instead, you should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092 for college.
