I need to know how to move my iTunes library to a different laptop.?
Answers:
The easiest way is to put it on an iPod and move it but you can click Export Libary and then put on a Disc and use Import... on the disc
in itunes go to file then to back up to disk then install itunes onthe new pc then back up from your back up disk.
Set both of your computers up on a LAN (Local Area Network) or use bluetooth and set up an ad hoc network. Either way, you need to transfer the files for about 1-3 thousand songs. Find the files (usually under MyComputer>MyDocuments>MyMusic... and transfer that all over to your other computer, and then you need to go into the iTunes program on you new computer and say "sync with folder."

put it all on a cd.
1.look under "My Music", should be under "my documents" if you use windows or under its own side tab in finder if you use mac.
2.There should be a folder labeled something like "Itunes library" which will contain all your music.
3. Figure out some way to transfer that folder to the new computer. Cds, DVDs, external hard drives, anything will work.
4. On the new computer, put it in the same area like where it was on the old computer. Itunes should see it immediately. You don't have to put it in the same place, so if you choose not too, make sure you either import the music from where ever you put it, or change the folder that Itunes syncs with to the Itunes folder you just moved onto the new computer(should be under preferences)
