The sims 2?

i know you cant really run the sims 2 for laptops, but is there anyway to make it go faster?
like change the resolution so it goes better and faster?
any tips on how to make it run better,
please help.

You could try to lower detail levels, eliminate reflections and shadows, and run it at a lower resolution. These generally will help, but not in every circumstance.
It would depend on your computer's specifications, but you've only posted the brand (I drive a Chevy, but no mechanic knowing only that could give anything more than very general advice on repairs, right?)
So if you can, find out the model/part number of your laptop, or post back the relevant specifications (processor speed, amount of RAM and type of video card), and I might be able to help you out a bit more.
