What's the better notebook brand HP, Sony Vaio, or Toshiba? and why?
im only interested in those three brands, i dont want a mac or dell or gateway etc.

Speaking from person experience i would say Toshiba is best. Every HP i have ever had has had to be sent back to be fixed a minimum of once, 3 times for the laptop once for pc. Sony Vaio makes an alright product but if you ever do get unlucky and have a problem the Customer service can be quite annoying, from having no idea how to speak english to being improperly trained and not knowing what your talking about. Of the hp's i've sent back none have been successfully fixed, the Sony Vaio i had to fix for work i finally had to find the answer for myself on the internet and it took about 10 hours to get it running correctly and efficiently again. I have only ever once had to call Toshiba tech support that was for a laptop from work, we dont know what happend to it, but they sent me a disc and it was fixed in 30 minutes after i had the disc. I'm gonna say Toshiba is most reliable and easiest to fix if it does break.
I would say HP, then toshiba. i wouldnt go for sony right now at all. they invested all there money on the ps3, and its not working out for them as they wanted it to, so they MIGHT go out of business. i like Hp, cause it gives you some good options when buying the laptop. Toshiba i havnt really tried but, i would still go with HP. You might also want to go with Gateway, they got good looking pcs and cheap. but look around see what you need
