Shift-click and ctrl-click in mac?

I'm a Mac first-timer, so I'm completely blank..
You know that in PC when u shift-click or ctrl-click, you can selects a number of items, okay? Does mac has a similar thing? I'm using macbook, btw.

Answers:
from your desktop, just hold down the trackpad button and drag the cursor over the items you want to select. release, then click and hold one of these and you can drag them all where you want. in finder, the easiest is in column or list view. hold down the command key(the key with the apple on it) while clicking on each item you are selecting. Or, click on first item in the list then shift click the last item. everything in between will be selected. The short answer is, MOST of the time, a ctrl-click on a PC is command-click on a Mac.
you click ctrl and your mouse
if you're a pc user don't use a mac!
