I feel so sorry for you.

I had a friend that tried the same thing. But in the end he gave up. It just can't be done on a Mac. Or at least no in a way that 'just works'.

I let him borrow my Vista laptop (Sony Vaio), and use PowerPoint 2007. He made a really nice quick, yet elegant, presentation slideshow on PowerPoint 2007, burned it on Nero, and we were able to get it sucessfully looping at this trade conference.

It's amazing what technology can and cannot do. Sometimes, Macs just don't do the job. Never let yourself rely completely on OS X, or you'll whack yourself for doing so. I use both PC's and Mac's, and sometimes, we have to admit.

Macs just can't do everything. Find someone with a Vista laptop, PowerPoint 2007, Nero, and you'll have yourself a great looping slideshow to show off. You'll be happy if you did.
It depends on what version of keynote you have, if you have the latest that was included in iWork 06 and also have the latest of iDVD which was included in iLife 06 then it is easy to do.

Click File, Export, iDVD tab, set your build options and then click the Next button, choose your save destination, and then burn it. Set your DVD player to repeat the title and it should work.
