The Apple MacBook or Sony VAIO N Series?

Well it may be a little too early for me to be writing this but...I'm already preparing for Christmas. lol I really want a laptop for Christmas but I'm stuck between choosing a Sony or Apple. I've heard nothing but great things about Apple...but I was reading some similar questions to mine on here and people were saying that having a Sony would probably be more reliable seeing that most the programs now use windows...but I would love to have a macbook.

The Sony VAIO N Series I want has this:
Series Features: 15.4" widescreen LCD, elegant design, 120GB hard drive
Upgrade Features: white

Intel® Core™ Duo Processor T2060 (1.60GHz)
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium

and the Apple MacBook has this:
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
80GB hard drive1
Combo drive

They're both within the same price range but I don't know which one to choose. Please help me make my decision! Thanks.

Configuration-wise and overall MacBook is better dude! You just wont repent having got the MacBook. I have not heard all that good reviews with the Vaio. Go ahead with Mac
Don't waste your time on the SONY Labtop,
go with the Apple mackbook pro.
I changed to macs 5 or 6 yrs ago. They are so much easier to use. Microshaft has layer upon layer of complication built into its operating system. And it treats you like an unwelcomed visitor. The antivirus bs doesnt exist in the mac community. Do yourself a favor buy a computer that you will enjoy owning and love for the simplicity built into it.
its really a big difference between windows and mac both sony and apple are quailty computers but it's really the differnce between the OS
Go with the Mac! Hands down! You will not be disappointed!
