What is the best laptop to hook up to a HDTV for 1080p resolution? If it has Bluray...?
Assuming both the laptop and TV have HDMI ports among the other factors needed that you will ""HOPEFULLY" point out for me.

You have it all right, but you will also want a nvidia geforce 8400gs or better. This video card will really help with all HD material. Definitely make sure the notebook has HDMI as it is superior to DVI.
Right now i cannot think of a laptop with both an HDMI port and a Bluray player. I know of plenty that has either bluray or HDMI but not together, which is pretty ridiculous. Dell does not offer the two features together, and HP likes HD-dvd for some bizare reason. Asus might have some but that's only a guess.
