Are PC RAMs the same as Laptop RAMs?
Answers:
No.
Laptop uses SODIMM, or small outline dual inline memory module. They are smaller, thinner and more expensive.
Like PC RAM, they also come in different Pin configuration:
144, or 200 pins

No they are not. PC Ram is about 5" long, ram for laptops is like 2".
Nope, the size and pinout are different
No, Desktops and Notebooks use different styles of memory.
No they are not, PC ram is longer in length, where Laptop Memory is shorter, they pretty much do the same thing as far as ddr,ddr2,sdram, and such.
the memory is the same but the way that it is put on the module is different. For example the desktop memory comes in the form of a DIMM and laptop memory comes in an SODIMM. Each module has a different number of pins, but the costs are roughly the same. So essentially, yes.
Nope, size and pins are completely different.
There is a difference between desktop RAM and notebook RAM. They are different sizes and will not fit even if the capacity is the same.
