If my laptop has built in wireless, will I still need to buy and internet card?

Nope. You do not need to buy another wireless card,unless of cos you feel that the built-in one is not up to standard in terms of speed and performance.If not,save the money and get other stuffs such as an external hard disk,which will be more useful.

Ethernet net cards are "usualy" also built into laptops. So if you have a wireless card you are good for the wireless router. But if your computer does not have an ethernet port, PLEASE get one because you will have times that wireless points are not available.
