I need your help on choosing the right laptop for me.?
- it must have a dvd/cd drive. (be able to burn cd and dvds)
- it must have windows vista
- fingerprint login would be nice but not necessary
- picking the color would be nice but not necesary.

Fingerprint security is great... but if you can not access your desktop then your data is lost forever unless it is backed up externally.
Toshiba has nice PCs but nothing special about them.
Dell uses cheap parts. Cheap prices can be found in all brands of pcs.

I went there because you didnt specify anything about price or features so i just got one packed with speed and memory and looks. at $1099
If you want Vista,
it must Have at Least 2GB or more of RAM if you WANT IT TO be faST. See, Vista takes up & requires 512MB of RAM in order to run, if you buy a 1GB RAM, you wont be running too fast. Look on walmart.com & bestbuy.com to look at their computers. On dell.com you can Build & personalize your computer & stuff.
You can even check our sears! theyve got some good stuff.
I would also like to add in here that HPs are very good computers, right now they r the top of the line.
Do NOT get dell watever you do. I have had many dells they are great for a couple of monthes but then they just screw there selfs up... Anyway I have NEVER had a problem with any toshiba laptops. Now they all have vista and they will burn dvds and cd... I would go to bestbuy or somthing like that and look they can custmize your order. also you can try looking at http://www.toshiba.com They have all sorts of laptops to look at! Well good luck... PS Dont let anyone tell you bad about vista I have it with 1GB of ram and it runs like a charm Good luck!

I have listed a good well equipped laptop. I also want to add in that you should NEVER GET DELL! They are horrible in quality and support. Personally I recommend HP and Sony. Laptop Specs:
