No sound on my computer after crashing how do i get it back?

you just have to install your sound drivers.. insert your cd driver for sound in your rom.
oh that happened to me before, i tried everything possible but then just gave up after awhile and lived without it and eventually i got a new computer.
Just a thought, but how good is your anti-virus software?
Maybe you have a virus there.
Visit majorgeeks.com and see if you can find any reference to a virus that has that effect
Re-install the software for the hardware affected!
