Every so often i get the message "keyboard signal is poor"?

this is a new cordless keyboard as i decided to change as was having same problem with previous keyboard and had just upgraded to Vista from XP-pro

Answers:
make sure that your wireless receiver is close enough to your keyboard and use a good brand of batteries.
Maybe you're too far away from the sensor and need to move closer to it. If you have anything plugged in, it's worth checking the connections to make sure they're snug.
Try moving the keyboard around and see what happens, clearly it's something blocking the signal quality. Better help for this is probably on the keyboard manual.
trash it and get another
Since the keyboard is on an extremely low power 2.4G link, it can be interferred with by any routers in the area. Since it is probably a desktop. be aware of what all is in the path of the signal from the keyboard to the receiver. Try the channel button and see if it helps.
