What is the sound like from the Dell Inspiron 1520 (the in-built speakers)?

Answers:
I recently bought an Inspiron 1405. The speakers are exceptionally good for laptop built-ins. The sound quality has been praised by online reviews and magazines as well. I believe the speakers are the same for the entire line of Inspiron notebooks. After all, they all look the same.
Sound Quality isn't really an issue most of the time.
i can tell you no matter what pc you get, the built in speakers are crap.
The Dell Inspiron 1520 is a nice system, but as far as the external speakers go, it's about the same with most notebooks, blah.

More then likely you will use a pair of headphones or portable external speakers for your notebook to enjoy the sound of a movie or song.

Do a search for 'portable speakers' and you will find all types of them out there.
The sound is fine from the inbuilt speakers (std as with most notebooks), but once I connected my headphones to listen to some tunes I noticed a loud piercing sound with no music or video going. when playing videos or music the sound is still there and the headphones are top quality sony monitors? I will be talking to dell since the 1520 is only 2 weeks old and keep you updated.
