I thought the Macbooks weren't supposed to get as hot as the ibooks?

But I just got a Macbook and already it's hot and the fan has been on the whole time, and my ibook fan never turned on. What gives?

I have a macbook and it is on practically 24/7, my fans never turn on? How much memory is being used. Did you install any new games to your computer that take alot of power.
download SMCFanControl (free) and you'll have a bit more control over those fans. If you had a MacBook Pro, those temps would reach 200F.
