Computer went into hibernation all by itself...?
Answers:
press the power once and that should bring it out of hibernation... if that doesn't work then press the restart button that wait for it to boot. and it all else fails the hold the power button down for 10 seconds and that will turn off the computer... after you get it back to the normal screen it would be a good idea to go into the control panel, then go to appearances and themes, then go to choose a screen saver, then go to power (down the bottom) then turn off system hibernates... :) hope this helped
Start, control panel, performance and maintenance, power options, and then configure it to your liking.
pushing the power button will turn it back on. It's supposed to anyway.
Go to control panel, power options, then unable hibernation.
Or got to power options and make your specifications o how the notebook's power will work. It's really easy to figure out.
Look at these settings -
Go to Control Panel > Power Options
Check your power schemes tab and Hibernate tabs
You can experiment with the options to see what works for you. Good luck!
is it recharged.
Sometimes its because it overheats or there is not enough battery. But yes you can change it. Normaly its with windows. Just go to control panel, and then go to 'power options' and go to the Power Schemes and click on that scroll and go to Always On. Then there should be no problem. If you are more computer savy, then look around that tab and see how you want to modify it to your personal satisfaction. good luck!
you will have to hold the power button down for 5 to 7 seconds. This will turn the laptop off. Then turn it back on. You can right click on the desktop and click on properties. if you go to the screen saver tab there will be a button for power settings. Here there will be a hibernation tab. You can uncheck the enable part if you are having issues with the hibernation.
Hope this helps...
So the thing about hibernation is that it happens when the computer is idle for a while. It's to save the battery/power. You do not HAVE to put it to sleep all the time, it will go to sleep if no one's playing with it. The power button works to get it going again. Plug it in and turn it on. Check the other answers suggestion to make it not do that, or adjust the amount of time before it does it automatically. It's ok. I've got an inspiron too.
Pressing the power button once and release should bring your screen back Go to control panel /peformance and mantienance/power options and configure your settings for hibernate
